My research interests span robotics, AI, and computational biology. More information is available on the web site of my research group, M²AP.

I received Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, under the supervision of Jean-Claude Latombe, and was a member of the Robotics Laboratory. After leaving Stanford, I worked Compaq Computer Corp.'s Cambridge Research Lab and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At National University of Singapore, I held the Sung Kah Kay Assistant Professorship and was a Faculty Fellow of the Singapore-MIT Alliance.
