[==== ALL LINKS ON THIS PAGE ARE ANONYMIZED ====] [Image] Last updated: Mon Sep 11 10:48:42 BST 1995 The third workshop on Designing Correct Circuits (DCC) will be held from Monday 2 September to Wednesday 4 September 1996 at Båstad in Southern Sweden. The two previous DCC workshops have been held in Oxford and Lyngby. This workshop is being organised by Satnam Singh (University of Glasgow), Mary Sheeran (Chalmers University) and Geraint Jones (University of Oxford). Relevant topics include but are not limited to: * formal hardware design languages, * hardware design by transformation, * computer-aided design and verification of hardware, * high level synthesis and silicon compilation, * techniques for the design of FPGA circuits, * methods for designing testable circuits, * analysis of circuit descriptions, * novel VLSI algorithms and architectures, * asynchronous circuit design. The workshop will be of interest to researchers in the area of formal methods for hardware design and to engineers in industry wishing to keep abreast of this fast-moving and exciting field. The program committee for this workshop will include: * Kees van Berkel (Philips, The Netherlands) * Graham Birtwistle (University of Leeds, UK) * Albert Camilleri (Hewlett-Packard, USA) * Carlos Delgado Kloos (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain) * Arnold Ginetti (COMPASS Design Automation, France) * Mark Greenstreet (University of British Columbia, Canada) * Keith Hanna (University of Kent, UK) * Geraint Jones (University of Oxford, UK) * Miriam Leeser (Northeastern University, USA) * Wayne Luk (Imperial College, UK) * Tom Melham (University of Glasgow, UK) * Robin Sharp (Technical University of Denmark, Denmark) * Mary Sheeran (Chalmers Technical University, Sweden) * Satnam Singh (University of Glasgow, UK) * Richard Taylor (Hewlett-Packard, UK) DCC Flyer You can fetch a PostScript flyer for the workshop by clicking here. Please print out the flyer and put it up somewhere: thank you very much! You can also ftp the flyer directly by connecting to ftp.dcs.gla.ac.uk and then fetching pub/dcc96/call.ps. The current version of the call is V9. Please report any problems you have with printing the flyer. Alternatively, you can fetch the Microsoft Word version of the call by clicking here. This version can be read by Microsoft Word for the Macintosh and Windows, as well as other programs that eat Word documents (e.g. FrameMaker). Call for Papers You are invited to submit a draft full paper (four copies if convenient) on a relevant subject by Wednesday 31 January 1996. Notification of acceptance will be posted by mid April, and revised papers will be due about six weeks later. It would be useful if you could indicate in advance your intention to submit a paper. Submitting by FTP You may also submit PostScript versions of papers by FTP. This is the preferred method for submitting papers. You may submit level 1 or level 2 PostScript, and binary PostScript is also acceptable. First, send email to satnam@dcs.gla.ac.uk indicating that you wish to make a submission by FTP and giving the filename of your submission. Then, connect to ftp.dcs.gla.ac.uk and move to the directory pub/dcc96/incoming, or just click here to view the directory. Use the put command to place your paper in the pub/dcc96/incoming directory. Name the file after the surname of the first author of the paper (after making sure that this name is not already taken!) and add the suffix .ps. You may submit compressed PostScript files, using the UNIX compress program (use suffix .Z) or gzip (use suffix .gz). For example, if Jonathan Hogg were to submit a paper, the file would be called hogg.ps. If the file were gzip-ed, then the filename would be hogg.ps.gz. Submitting by E-mail The email address for submissions and more information is: dcc-workshop@comlab.ox.ac.uk We can accept uuencoded PostScript files. Submitting by Post Papers can be sent by post to: DCC'96 Workshop Satnam Singh Dept. Computing Science University of Glasgow Glasgow, G12 8QQ United Kingdom Tel: +44 141 330 4454 Email: satnam@dcs.gla.ac.uk Format We are currently selecting a publisher for the proceedings. Formating guidelines may be distributed at a later date. Currently, please submit black and white PostScript using an A4 page size. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Image] This page is always under construction.
